Week 1

In this kickoff to our “Summer at the Well” series, we dive into Jesus’ Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13, exploring why He taught with stories and what they reveal about the condition of our hearts. Together we walk through the four types of soil—the hardened, shallow, crowded, and good soil—to see how each represents a different way we receive God’s Word. This message sets the foundation for the rest of the summer as we learn how to cultivate hearts that are ready to hear, receive, and bear fruit from the truths Jesus shares in His parables.
