Relationships & Reconciliation

Every home has tension. Not because the people in it are evil. Not because love isn’t real. But because proximity exposes imperfection. When two sinners live closely together… friction is inevitable.

- Marriage.

- Parenting.

- Friendships.

- Roommates.

- Church family.

The closer the relationship, the greater the potential for hurt.

Some of us grew up in homes where conflict meant volume.

Some grew up where conflict meant silence.

Some learned to attack.

Some learned to withdraw.

Some learned to joke their way out of tension.

Some learned to spiritualize everything so they never actually had to deal with anything.

But very few of us were taught how to repair. And repair… is holy work. Tonight isn’t about avoiding conflict. It’s about how followers of Jesus handle it.
