Day 12: Living in Authority Through the Anointing

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’”

The anointing gives believers authority in Christ. Through His sacrifice and resurrection, Jesus has endowed us with divine authority to carry out His mission on earth. When we speak His Word and act in His name, we operate in the power that raised Him from the dead.

Reflect on the authority you have as a believer in Christ. Pray for boldness and wisdom to use that authority to further God’s kingdom.
